History

November 1986 was when we first began our original business, Walker Security Systems. Three decades later, it is still run by three brothers; Eddie, Frank and Fred Walker.

We may have grown in size but we have never forgotten our core values (and the things that irritate us when we need a tradesman). So, we have several staff answering calls - so you don’t need to wait any more than a few seconds to have a call answered - and they can handle 90% of what is asked for. We don't like being held in a queue and we don't want you to be either. That's why we have emails, dedicated text numbers, our customer portal with inbuilt messaging and live chat.

A quarter of a million jobs later and we are still searching for ways to improve and create the highest customer service standard. Hence why we provide the most helpful office staff, the most qualified tradesmen and the most reliable systems. We know every detail, no matter how small, is important which is why we never stop looking for new ways to improve.

We now offer Electrical and Joinery services in addition to our core Fire and Security services. Proving our technical skills is aided by several external bodies that audit our systems, our tradesman and our work. NSI and NICEIC both conduct annual audits to ensure we comply with the latest regulations and have the required staff, equipment and systems in place. We are also members of CHAS, BAFE, Safe Contractor and the FIA - all of which should provide confidence in our abilities.

As a family business, born and bred in Glasgow, we aim to provide a friendly, efficient and transparent service where customers come first.
